Avery's birth parents SHOWED UP on the first try to their Embassy Interview! All went very well according to our Haiti program director! I will assume that means no DNA testing! We are so thankful and are PRAYING this means we'll get out of IBESR by the end of the month? It is the first bit of good news we've had in a long time so it seems that much sweeter!!! We still have some dear friends awaiting news about their BP interviews and I hope they receive GREAT news today as well!!!!
Hoping this will move our paperwork along...we need to get our little girl home!

That's great news!
Congratulations! Hope that you get good news soon!
Yay. Any movement is good news!
That is really great news! Our bp interview is next week.
Having the interview unfortunately won't speed up IBESR since you don't need the interview for that. But it will speed up the last stages of your process when waiting for approval for the I600 and getting the visa. Terry
We were out of IBESR in May/June.
Good! One less thing to worry about!
And what a great picture of Avery!
Great news!
I am THRILLED for you!!! One step closer to sweet Avery...
Seconding the information on IBESR. Sorry it won't make it go faster. But it could definitely save you some time at the end when you are waiting for your visa.
Yeah, I didn't word the IBESR thing quite right! :) We have heard all files in IBESR (with the BP interview done or not!) are going to be signed out this month...but who knows, that could be rumor! It is Haiti afterall...
OH!!! My daughter is named Avery also!!! We brought her home from Haiti in May.
That's neat! Do you have a Haiti blog? If it's private, my email is: tbonoffski@hotmail.com if you don't mine inviting me! :)
