I have no words when I look at this photo. I look at Avery sitting in her empty crib. Her loving family, still looking down upon her each day. She looks sad and lonely. Please bring her home.
It is a miracle that the pictures are still there!! Really. I put activity boxes on my twin's cribs. I went for a second trip only ten weeks later and they were long gone.
Are you going in March? You've probably said but my memory is shot. None of this creole will stick in my mind.
Oh boy have I been in your shoes. Trust me, she will come home and you will have hundreds of smiling, laughing photos of your sweet girl. My Avery was crying in one of our update photos and my heart cracked open.
Married to my high school sweet heart for 12 years. We have two incredible boys, who are the absolute love of our lives and have recently brought home our little girl Avery from Haiti on January 25, 2010. We had just entered Parquet when the earthquake hit, so our file was expedited along with others already in process to come home. So, we are no longer waiting for Avery and our family is complete!

I agree with Kathy, it is amazing that the pictures are still there!
The wait is long and I completely understand...hang in there and keep praying for strength and peace. The children are well taken care of...
